poetry: Blue

Blue, it should not be there
blue
a fracture
deeper than shadows seep
blue
a bruise across a living
love
blue
the colour of a dead baby
the challenge is to live
under the sky again
when you know
blue
offers no hope
when blue
will caste its bruise
across your life
forever
it takes time
to see blue for what it is
no more nor less than
a refraction
of your soul
bouncing from your dead baby’s face
the sky will always be thwarted
under such
blue
